"I use this as my everyday headlamp, especially when working on my vehicles. It’s very effective when used as a headlamp and I appreciate their being no battery pack at the back when lying down on my creeper. The magnetic base comes in handy when working on the suspension or under the hood. It is a fantastic and lightweight light, with more than enough brightness levels and run time."

"A fantastic head lamp. I like the compactness of it and the reflective band. Gives me plenty of brightness. Pretty amazing all the features put into the tail switch with brightness levels and a red light by double tapping it. I have had this light for a couple of years and forgotten about the red light feature. I was pleasantly surprised to have rediscovered it. All components and parts are high quality. I have owned Fenix flashlights for work and EDC for many years and come to rely on them exclusively. No negative issues, just solid performance."

"Great small head torch for running, general camping tasks. I like that it is compact and the elastic is sturdy that I dont have to tighten the strap and get a headache. Lasts a decent amount of time for the size, in cold and hot temperatures I've noticed. Construction feels premium. Will be buying the HM23 V2. 0 as a backup as it takes AA batteries. Convinced my father to buy a Fenix too. One more thing, the quick clip on and off feature comes in handy."
