What batteries work in the Fenix LR35R LED flashlight?
The Fenix LR35R runs on two 21700 lithium-ion batteries. To get the full 10,000 lumen output, you need to use the Fenix ARB-L21-4000P lithium-ion batteries which are included with the flashlight. If you use other 21700 batteries, you will get a maximum output of 8500 - 9000 lumens.
Does the LR35R have overheat protection?
Yes, the LR35R does have overheat protection. The light may become hot, especially when used at higher output levels. If the light ever reaches 140° F (60° C) it will drop the output to a lower level to allow it to cool. Once the light has cooled below this threshold it will allow access to all brightness levels again.
How to I read the battery level indicator on the LR35R?
The battery level indicator features a red or green light that is either solid or flashing.
- Solid green light: 100%-85%
- Flashing green light: 85%-50%
- Solid red light: 50%-25%
- Flashing red light: 25%-1%
During recharging the light will be solid red while charging and solid green when full.
Does the LR35R feature a lockout function?
Yes, it does.
While the flashlight is off, quickly double-click the side switch to activate the lock.
To deactivate the lock, double-click the side switch. The light will turn on in the lowest setting.
