A: Utilizes twenty-seven 2835 LEDs and twenty-four high-quality 2020 RGB LEDs, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours each.

A: Working voltage: 3.0 V - 4.2 V. Max working current: 0.93 A.

Q: Is CL20R V2 rechargeable? How long is the charging time? If the anti-dust cover falls off, will the CL20R V2 remain waterproof?

A: Yes, the CL20R V2 is rechargeable via its USB Type-C port. With the lantern turned off, the normal charging time is approximately 2.5 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 5V/1A or above charging adapter. Once charging is completed, be sure to unplug the charging cable and close the anti-dust cover to prevent the ingress of dust and debris. Its USB Type-C port features an inner waterproof design; therefore, the CL20R V2 will remain waterproof even if the anti-dust cover falls off.

Q: What kind of battery can be used in CL20R V2?

A: It is recommended to use a Fenix ARB-LP1900 battery. The CL20R V2 is also compatible with three AAA batteries. Other batteries are not recommended, as an unmatched battery may cause the lantern to fail to work normally. Do not mix old and new AAA batteries, as this may damage the lantern.

Q: Why does the CL20R V2 downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

A: There are two reasons: 

1. Intelligent Overheat Protection

The lantern will accumulate a lot of heat when used for extended periods. When the lantern reaches a temperature of 50°C/122°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 50°C/122°F, the lantern will gradually recall the preset output level.

2. Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the switch light ring blinks red 6 times every 1 second to remind users to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner. To ensure normal use, the lantern will not turn off automatically and will work till the battery runs out.

Q: Why does the CL20R V2 sometimes flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the lantern to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:

1. Poor battery level.

Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.

2. The contact or contact point of the battery or lantern is dirty.  

Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
