Condensed from the manufacturer's official manual for the Fenix GL06 pocket pistol tactical light. Covers both the GL06 (Glock/Picatinny rail) and GL06-365 (SIG-Sauer P365 rail) variants. See the downloadable PDF reference manual on this page for complete details.
Warning
- Keep this light out of the reach of children.
- Do NOT shine the light directly into the eyes of anyone.
- Do NOT shine the light at flammable objects at close range, to avoid causing danger due to high temperature.
- Do NOT use the light in inappropriate ways such as biting it in the mouth, to avoid personal injury or life-threatening risk if the light or internal battery fails.
- This light will accumulate a lot of heat while working, resulting in a high temperature of the flashlight shell. Pay attention to safe use to avoid scalding.
- Turn off and lock the light, or remove the battery, to prevent accidental activation when the light is placed in a closed, flammable environment such as a pocket or backpack.
- The LED of this flashlight is not replaceable; the whole light should be replaced when the LED reaches the end of its life.

Important Warnings
FAILURE TO READ AND FOLLOW THESE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS WHEN HANDLING A FIREARM OR THE GL06 CAN BE DANGEROUS AND CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR DEATH.
Make sure that the firearm is unloaded and the breech is open. It is imperative that safety measures be employed at all times while handling the firearm.
Flashlight Mounting & Removal
GL06: make sure your firearm rail is Picatinny rail or Glock rail and choose the appropriate rail key (Glock is mounted by default); open the QD lever, attach the light to the weapon's accessories rail, make sure the rail key sits inside the slot, close the QD lever, then adjust the rail clamp bolt and make sure it is securely attached to the firearm.
GL06-365: before mounting, make sure your firearm belongs to SIG-Sauer P365, P365X, P365-380, P365XL, P365 SAS, or any other type of firearm that shares the same rail size; open the QD lever, make sure the rail key sits inside the slot, close the QD lever, then adjust the rail clamp bolt and make sure it is securely attached to the firearm.
Operating Instructions
Switch: the dual tail switches are ambidextrous rear switches.
On/Off: single click either of the switches to turn on/off the light. With the light switched off, press and hold either of the switches for over 1 second to momentarily turn on the light.
Instant Strobe: press the two switches at the same time to enter the instant strobe mode immediately. Press and hold either of the switches and click the other switch to enter the instant strobe mode; single click it again to close the instant strobe mode, or press the two switches at the same time to return to the last used output.
Battery Specifications & Replacement
- Fenix ARB-L16-700UP (16340, 3.6V): Recommended
- CR123A (3V): Usable
16340 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Only use quality batteries with circuit protection to reduce the potential for combustion or explosion; cell damage or short-circuiting are potential risks the user assumes.
To replace: unscrew the light head to insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light head back on.
Intelligent Overheat Protection
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on white light mode for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 55°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55°C, it will then return to the standard output of white light mode.
Low-Voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower output. If the voltage is lower than 3.2V, the battery level indicator blinks to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.
Note: This only works with a Fenix ARB-L16-700UP rechargeable 16340 Li-ion battery.
Usage and Maintenance
- Disassembling the sealed parts can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
- Fenix recommends using only a high-quality battery.
- If the light will not be used for an extended period, lock the light or remove the battery for proper storage.
- If you shoot ammunition and get the lens coated, try rubbing the lens with fine steel wool or Froglube CLP.
- Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
- Since gun maintenance requires the use of organic solvents, organic solvents contaminating key components of the light may cause malfunctions, and the light will not receive normal warranty service.
- Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the light's performance, as dirty contacts may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently, or fail to illuminate. If the battery level is poor, recharge or replace it; if contacts are dirty, clean them with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol. If the above methods don't work, contact your authorized distributor.
