Q: What kind of LED is used in GL07?

A: A Luminus SFT12R LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. Fenix does not provide LED replacement services for the time being, and users are not recommended to replace the LEDs independently, which may affect product performance and cause product damage.

Q: What is the color temperature of GL07?

A: Around 6000K.

Q: What is the working voltage of GL07?

A: The working voltage is 2.8 V - 4.2 V.

Q: Is GL07 rechargeable? How long is the charging time?

A: The GL07 doesn’t feature any charging port, but its package comes with a 16340 rechargeable battery that can be recharged via its own USB Type-C charging port. The indicator on the battery will display red while charging and will turn blue when fully charged. The normal charging time of the battery is about 2 hours from depleted to fully charged.

Q: How to prevent accidentally activate the GL07?

A: Unscrew the light head a few turns to prevent accidental activation.

Q: Why does the GL07 step down a few lumens after being used for a while?

A: There are two reasons:

1. Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 55°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature.

2. Low-voltage Downshift

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the brightness level decreases correspondingly. When the voltage level drops below 3 V, the light blinks 3 times every 2 minutes to remind users to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner.

*This feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L16-800UP rechargeable battery.

Q. Why does the GL07 sometimes flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:

1. Poor battery level.

Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.

2. The contact or contact point of the battery or light is dirty.

Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Q: What kind of battery can be used in GL07?

A: It is recommended to use a Fenix ARB-L16-800UP battery. The GL07 is also compatible with a CR123A battery. Other Li-ion batteries are not recommended. As an unmatched battery may cause the light to fail to work normally.
