Operating Instructions

On: with the lamp switched off, press and hold either of the switches for 0.5 seconds to turn on the lamp.

Off: press and hold either of the switches for 0.5 seconds to turn off the lamp.

Mode Switching

With the lamp switched off, press and hold the white light switch for 0.5 seconds to enter White light mode. Single click the red light switch to switch to Red light mode. With the lamp switched off, press and hold the red light switch for 0.5 seconds to enter Red light mode. Single click the white light switch to switch to White light mode.

Output Selection

White light mode: with the lamp switched on, single click the white light switch to cycle through Eco→Low→Med→High.

Red light mode: with the lamp switched on, single click the red light switch to select between Constant-on and Flash.

Lockout Function

Lock: with the lamp switched off, press and hold the two switches simultaneously for 3 seconds; the lamp will blink 4 times in the Eco output of White light mode before going off to indicate locked status.

Unlock: with the lamp locked, press and hold the two switches simultaneously for 3 seconds; the lamp will be activated with 4 white blinks and enter the Eco output of White light mode to indicate the lamp is unlocked.

In locked status, clicking or pressing the switches will activate 4 blinks in the Eco output of White light mode before going off to indicate locked status.

Intelligent Memory Circuit

The lamp automatically memorizes the last selected output of each mode. When turned on again, the previously used output of the currently selected mode will be recalled.

Charging

Uncover the anti-dust cap and plug the USB Type-C side of the charging cable into the charging port of the lamp.
When charging, the indicators will flash from bottom to top to display the charging status. The four indicators will be constant-on after charging is completed.
With the lamp switched off, the normal charging time is about 2.5 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 5V/1A or above charging adapter.

Battery Level Indication

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or above, the lamp will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C/140°F, the lamp automatically recalls the previously used output level.

Low-Voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached. When this happens at the lowest output, the lamp blinks 3 times every 5 minutes to remind users to recharge the battery.

Headband Assembly

The headband is factory-assembled and ready to use right out of the package. Adjust the headband by sliding the buckle to the required length.

Great light, not so great build

"First the good. This light is very bright, it's lightweight, and the light housing itself is well built using metal. The band to hold it to your head is also comfy and the rubber to keep it in place was appreciated. The buttons were easy to figure out and use. Now the bad. The piece used to hold the light to the headband is just a flimsy piece of plastic that doesn't even connect the "legs" in the middle of the band. I understand they did this for it to be removable but it also makes for a weaker product. Mine lasted less than 3 months before one of the 4 legs snapped while adjusting the light, rendering it useless as a headlamp. No warranty coverage for this so unless you want to pony up the $$ for a new plastic piece 4x a year(if they are even in stock to buy) I would search out other better thought out options."

So So Headlamp

"This headlamp is decently bright with a spot only function. The area of illumination was smaller than expected with the spot light. The brightness levels are fine, but the battery life seems much shorter than expected. I used it for one night time run and the band of the headlamp against my forehead became irritating after 4 or 5 miles. I would return this lamp except I completely destroyed the packaging."

"I’ve had a few headlamps, the last being a AA Fenix light which I loved, but someone else loved it more… I picked up this one because it was super lightweight and rechargeable. 5 star light! Memory to last setting, super dim “moonbeam” and red light settings and adjustable angle- I’ve used it working on my Jeep and doing chores around the house after dark for three weeks now and I’ve not had to charge it yet. Fenix lights seldom disappoint and this one is no exception. Now I just wish I could get another PD20."
