"This is a phenomenal light. I carry it everyday and have used it for countless wilderness SAR missions. The beam cuts through fog much better than others I have used allowing my team to move a little more quickly. The strobe has also proven to be very effective in disorienting aggressors. The only little problem I have with the light is the dust cover for the charging port eventually does not want to seal very well if at all. The light seems to still be waterproof, but it will get dirt or mud in there and lead to bigger problems. It just seems like there should be a better way to protect that fragile part. So far I just wash it out with warm water and an old toothbrush and it has survived. I would like to have the PD36r Pro exactly like it is except for the external charging port. I would prefer it to be internal like the Renegade. Just my 2 cents."
