Q: What kind of LED is used in TK30R? Does Fenix offer to replace LED?

A: Fitted with a set of 10W high-performance white laser module.

Q: What is the color temperature of TK30R?

A: Around 6500K.

Q: What is the working voltage of TK30R?

A: Voltage: 2.9V - 6.0V.

Q: Is TK30R rechargeable?

A: Yes, TK30R is rechargeable with a hidden USB Type-C port in the light neck.

Q: How long is the charging time?

A. The normal charging time is about 4 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 15 W or above charging adapter. The actual charging time can vary depending on the type of charging adapter, the battery's condition, and the surrounding temperature. If you notice that the charging time is significantly longer than usual or if the device is not charging at all, please check the charging cable, ensure the charging adapter is compatible, and verify that the connections are secure. If you have any additional questions, please contact customer service for assistance.

Q: Why does the TK30R downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

A: There are two reasons:

1. Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on High mode for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will then allow the user to re-select the High mode.

2. Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level. When the voltage level is still too low, the battery level indicator blinks red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Q: Why does the TK30R sometimes flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:

1. Poor battery level.

Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.

2. The contact or contact point of the battery or flashlight is dirty.

Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Q: What kind of battery can be used in TK30R?

A: It is recommended to use Fenix ARB-L21 Series battery. An 18650 battery can also be used with the ALF-18 battery adapter.

Warning

• Do not place this light in the reach of children.
• Do not shine the light directly into the eyes of anyone.
• Do not place the light head near flammable objects — high temperatures can cause objects to overheat and become flammable/ignite.
• Do not use the light in inappropriate ways such as holding the unit in your mouth; doing so could cause serious personal injury or death if the light or internal battery fails.
• This light will accumulate a significant amount of heat while operating, resulting in a high temperature of the light shell. Pay close attention to avoid burns.
• Remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
• The LED of this light is not replaceable; the light will need to be replaced when the LED reaches the end of its lifespan.

Battery Specification

• Fenix ARB-L21 series (21700, 3.6V): Recommended

Warning: it is strictly prohibited to use an 18650, CR123A, or 16340 battery. 21700 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion or explosion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. Any adverse effects resulting from the use of low-quality batteries are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability. Using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion.

Battery Replacement: unscrew the tail cap and insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the tail cap back on.

Charging

• Loosen the light neck to reveal the USB Type-C charging port and the battery level indicator.
• The indicator will display red while charging and will turn green when fully charged.

Battery Level Indication

Press the tactical switch, and the indicator (unscrew the light head to see) will indicate the battery level.

• Green light on: saturated, 100% - 85%.
• Green light flashes: sufficient, 85% - 50%.
• Red light on: poor, 50% - 25%.
• Red light flashes: critical, 25% - 1%.

Note: this feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L21 series battery.

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C/140°F, the light will gradually recall the preset output level.

Low-Voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the battery level indicator blinks red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Note: this feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L21 series battery.

Usage and Maintenance

• Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
• Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
• If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the light could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
• Turn the toggle switch to “Lock” or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
• Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
• Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance, as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently, or fail to illuminate: check for a poor battery level (replace or recharge), or for dirty threads/PCB board/other contacts (clean with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol).
• If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.
