High quality but get rid of the magnetic tailcap

"I got this light early September 2025. It works well. Only thing I didn't like was the magnetic tailcap and I wish it was like 3/4 or 1 inch longer. I ended up losing it mid November because of the magnetic tailcap. It kept sticking to my keys and it would come out with them when pulling them out. Sometimes it just stuck to them and other times it would fall on the ground. Well that last time in November it fell out and I didn't notice until later. I looked all over but couldn't find it. Fast forward to today - April 17 2026. I just found it laying outside my house on the ground. It still looks just like it did the day I lost it. You can't tell it's been outside for 5 months in the rain and snow. Plus it still works with battery that was in it! The magnetic tailcap is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I own several Fenix lights and they have all worked great. Will continue to buy them!"

Great light for EDC

"I bought this for a EDC and I love it. On max power it is very bright but the battery doesn’t last very at this brightness. That is fine though because I bought it because it was a solid light and compact. I’ve had this light for at least two years and maybe longer. I carry it without even noticing it along with a pocket knife both in the same pocket. When I purchased it and paid only $30 I didn’t really expect it to last very long but it has surpassed my expectations on quality. Definitely recommend for an EDC but if you’re looking for something that has a long battery life on max brightness this isn’t the one. The low and mid brightness levels are just fine and definitely last a lot longer on these settings."

Great little light

"I love my new flashlight. I bought it for my wife's purse. It is easy to operate and very bright"

David H. (5/5)

Powerful mini flashlight

"A dependable, small flashlight & tool, very good technology."

John T. (5/5)

good little light.

"I've had the v2 for several years and while it's a little shorter than I'd like it works well. I got the v3 because I wanted the memory. THe light still works well, but the button seems a little worse or maybe it just needs a bit of use to break in? I could do without the magnetic base but it's not terrible. It doesn't stick to my keys as much as I thought it would."

Good edc

"I bought the 3v after the rubber switch cap on my 2v broke. The 3v is good I would prefer it had the last mode of the old version. Also I'm not sure I like the magnetic tail, I see the usefulness but it attracts metal particles & might effect function over time."

Chris L. (4/5)

Prefer older model

"I notice you came up with some upgrades with this model flashlight. Like the button and the intensity selections. Maybe it’s because I’ve been using this same model flashlight for years, but I prefer the older model. I don’t like the new button or how the intensity selection works. It seems too bright on the brightest selection. ."

Great pocket carry flashlight

"This AA battery flashlight fits nicely in a pocket or purse, uses readily available batteries, and is sufficiently bright on highest setting this is not disappointing. Purchased one for every member of my family."

Steve T. (5/5)

Great little flashlight!

"I purchased this Fenix model to replace my lost one (an earlier model, similar size). I like the fact that this new model remembers my preferred light intensity. It's a very convenient sized flashlight to carry in my pocket or purse. I really like it!"

Susan S. (5/5)

Best AA light

"Having a stand up magnetic switch is the best of best worlds."
