The HM75R headlamp is tailored for adventurers and professionals alike. Crafted from magnesium, this headlamp is 30% lighter than its aluminum counterparts. It comes equipped with dual power sources: a primary battery for the headlamp and an extendable powerbank that can be detached and used on the go, complete with a convenient belt clip. The HM75R features a versatile lighting system with a spotlight and floodlight white output, alongside a red light output for night vision preservation. Navigation through these modes is quick and easy with a rotary selection switch, and adjusting brightness levels is a breeze with a simple button press.

Boasting 1600 lumens of maximum output and reaching distances up to 732 feet and up to 18.9 hours of maximum runtime, the HM75R will be there to meet your needs. Charging is swift and efficient with USB-C fast charging, fully charging the headlamp in just 4 hours and the extender in 2.5 hours, while the extender also supports 18W fast discharge for your devices. It also features an intelligent brightness downshift technology that automatically adjusts the light intensity to prevent blinding when approaching objects closely.

Designed to withstand the toughest conditions, the HM75R’s full metal body is both impact and corrosion-resistant. The extender cable securely locks into the headlamp, ensuring a reliable connection. Rated IP68 for waterproofing and tested for 2-meter drops, this headlamp is ready for any challenge. Additionally, the flashing red output enhances visibility and safety. The package includes 2 batteries - the ARB-L18-3400 battery goes into the headlamp and the ARB-L21-5000v2 battery goes into the included power bank. Whether for professional use, outdoor adventures, or emergencies, the HM75R headlamp is your dependable companion, lighting the way forward.

What material is the lens of the HM75R made of?

High-quality PC-1250Z material.

What kinds of LEDs are used in HM75R?

A Luminus SST40 cold white LED, two Luminus SST20 neutral white LEDs, and an
OSRAM GR QSSPA1.23 red light LED; with a lifespan of 50,000 hours each.

What is the color temperature of HM75R?

Spotlight mode: 6500K. Floodlight mode: 4000K.

What is the operating voltage of HM75R and power extender?

HM75R headlamp : 2.85 V - 7.4 V.
Power extender: 3.2 V - 4.2 V.

Why is it not possible to select higher modes when the HM75R is charged by the power extender?

When using the power extender to charge the HM75R headlamp, the headlamp is charged indirectly, and the power extender is not capable of driving large currents. As a result, the actual brightness of each output depends on the charging voltage when the HM75R is charged by the power extender

Why does the power extender still discharge when the HM75R is fully charged?

With the light load detection function switched on, the power extender will automatically stop discharging when the headlamp is fully charged. Re-insert the Type-C plug and click the Switch B or re-insert the battery to restart discharging.

Why does the HM75R downshift to a lower mode after being usedvfor a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

There are two reasons:
1. Intelligent Overheat Protection
The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at relatively high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the lamp will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature.
2. Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached.

How to prevent accidentally activate the HM75R?

Rotate the rotary switch to the Power symbol.

What kind of batteries can be used in HM75R and power extender?

For the HM75R headlamp, the Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery is recommended. For the power extender, the ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery is recommended. Other Li-ion batteries are not recommended. As High output fails to headlamp up due to current
and voltage limitation, an unmatched battery may cause the headlamp to fail to work normally.

Reviews

Great light

"Perfect for hunting and fishing. it’s hard now to find lights with multiple red light settings and such a wide adjustable range of lumens in the other modes. the only reason i gave 4 stars was the knob to turn on and off is kind of a challenge to get used to if you’re hunting and need to turn the light off immediately. once you get used to it, it’s great"

Fenix hm75r

"The light itself is amazing. They should use this user interface on all the other headlamps as I have tried all the others and the 2 button system is terrible. I would have given this light a 5 out of 5 but I had to pay extra because of the extra battery which I will never use even as a power bank because the battery gets too hot. Also came with no case so I had to purchase that separately and lastly hate the band over the top of the head so I had to purchase the boa running strap which is better."

Steve E. (3/5)

"I bought this for my husband who wanted this headlamp because of the red light. My son borrowed it to hiking in the dark and loved it so much he didn't want to give it back so I had to order another one along with the pouch to store it."

Ann-Margaret (5/5)

Only would change one thing

"Very happy with light just wish the first turn was to red not to white for hunting and fishing. Can over come by turning all on and all off fast, but was the 1 miss with this product. Serious upgrade from cheap lights at cabellas and even my diamond lights, but with diamond i could go strait to red and straight off."

Alexander L. (4/5)

Cables are not retained

"This is currently shipping with a design flaw, there is no mechanism to retain the cable from the light to the battery extender at the back, it falls out immediately with even low level movement. What product did these other reviewers receive? I thought I just got the wrong cables included in the box, but I opened a claim and was shipped a second unit which has the same problem. The cables have a locking mechanism built into each end, but there is no mechanism on the receiving end, either at the light or the battery extender. I wanted to love this light, but I'm returning it for a refund, there's no way this is going into the mountains with me."

Doesn’t work out of the box

"Didn’t work out of the box. When I returned the headlamp, they sent me a response back saying I had installed the spare O-Ring on the light (I hadn’t and even included the O-Ring in the return box in it’s baggy). I received the light back with the O-Ring that is supposed to be installed from the factory completely removed off the light (Thus negating the water proofing). I installed the spare O-Ring on and it works but I don’t have the confidence in this product to take it out and depend on it after this debacle."

"Bought three of these for me and my coworkers that were moved to nights. Super bright. Lasts all night on lower settings which we found was all we needed. Directions could be way better on how to use with second battery."

Jeremy C. (5/5)

Great headlamp!! Great upgrades!!

"The SST-40 in the upgraded smooth reflector throws plenty!! Great heat dissipation. Power bank discharges truly at 20 watts. Comfortable. The spot on low level is plenty of light for most tasks. The twin SST-20’s light up everything. Extremely useful at work!!"

John W. (5/5)

Great light

"I use it almost every day and it’s great"

Noah L. (5/5)

Quality Build and Function

"I purchased the 75r for all-purpose use ranging from hunting/hiking to work projects - both inside and outside. The overall build quality is excellent and the light output is outstanding. You can quickly rotate the dial to red to avoid white light destroying your night vision if you desire. The light intensity control button is easy to use. The headband is sturdy and comfortable - especially with the addition of the over-the-top band. The extra battery pack is not overly heavy and ensures long runtime. Yes, it is expensive but well worth it for the quality and performance."
