Reviews

Horrible

"I dont see my other review so I’ll do it again under the item I actually bought. Bought in 12/‘24 through Edison Bright on Amazon but my issue is with the product and the warranty experience. Light worked for a short amount of time then it would never stay on for more than 1-2 secs no matter how much the battery was charged or if the terminals were alcohol wiled. I figured I’d get a new battery which eventually I did. The light was functional for a shorter amount of time then back to turning itself off after 1-2secs. So I bought a different, cheaper brand since this was useless. I eventually attempt a warranty repair on the fenix. It took 1-2 months for it to return to my possession and then it performs exactly how it was when I sent it off. No difference. So I contacted the warranty service once again with this issue and after emailing an initial guy, someone else was suppose to contact me to give me the details on sending it off for a 2nd time. Well, that didnt happen. I emailed again and no response. So I had a >$100 headlight that worked for a total of a few weeks, sent for a repair that wasnt seemingly corrected, then ghosted -FOR NO GOOD REASON. I was cordial at every level, did whatever was asked, and was never made right. Worthless product and worthless service. I’ve left my review many months ago on Amazon but just a couple days ago I threw the headlight away after seeing it in the corner of my shop collecting dust, and doing it brought back memories of this experience so here I am on the website"

Felix HP25R V2. 0

"The HP25RV2. 0 is a great Head Lamp function / controls are easy to find with gloves on and has plenty of settings to adjust brightness levels to match situation. Personal experience, The battery has lasted all night in working conditions on medium power for me ( i get off work i just recharge it. ) It has lasted 2 days of duck hunting and then i just recharge it i use it on the highest setting for about 2hrs each day. The head lamp is bright enough to see far away or use the flood option to light up a total area your working in. The spot light is very bright to see upcoming branches when in a boat at night or looking to find that secret spot. Great for setting decoys and setting out blinds or running the marsh to get to your favorite spot. This is a great headlamp for sportsman, backpacker or bluecollar worker on the job. You will not be disappointed!!"

Very practical headlamp

"A very practical headlamp that provides long-lasting illumination, plus a spare battery, making it the perfect choice for camping."

Bright light, great warranty

"This is a very bright headlamp, but after a year the spotlight quit working. Kudo's to Fenix for replacing it though. The new one does not seem as bright as the old one on the spotlight. I had been using a cheap $45 headlamp while waiting for the return of the one I sent in and it is almost as good as the $120 Fenix. I like that I can use a separate spotlight and floodlight with the Fenix. I use the spotlight to do a distance scan all around for eyes glowing in the dark, before taking the dog out for the night. We have a lot of wildlife and that includes Mountain Lions, coyotes, bobcats and bears. Most nights the eyes are only deer. Once I do my scan I can change it to the flood to watch the dog and a wider area closer to me. Having the battery on the back is a plus for balance and comfort, but it is a detriment when working on something that requires you lay on your back, or just laying in a recliner stargazing (light just there for checking cracking twigs and getting back to the house when done) The battery makes a hard lump on the back of your head. Everything is a compromise I guess. My interim light has the battery on the front, but that makes it feel heavy on the front. It just depends on what you will be doing with it. If you are walking, the battery on the back is really nice. I also like that I can just snap it back into its bracket to keep from accidentally turning it on in a pocket or pack when not wearing it."

Never had any issues with

"Never had any issues with any of my Fenix lights. Every light I bought lasted and paid for itself. I bought the first version of HP25R, several UC35, and several other models without any issue at all! Hands down the best lights I bought."

Great headlamp

"This is the best headlamp I have owned. I like the low settings as well as the red light I can use while camping. I have received compliments on the softness and even light a couple times on late night walks. If I need it bright the high setting competes with some of the better handhelds."
