A: 3000 - 4500K.

Q. What is the working voltage of HP35R?

A: 5.6 - 8.4 V.

Q. Is HP35R rechargeable? How long is the charging time?

A: The HP35R headlamp is powered by the included battery case. The battery case is rechargeable with its Type-C port. The normal charging time is about 2 hours from depleted to fully charged(supports PD3.0/2.0 fast-charging protocols). When charging, the LED indicators will flash from left to right to display the charging status. The four indicators will be constant-on after charging is completed.

Q. Does the HP35R support discharging? Can it be operated during the discharging process?

A: Turn the rotary switch to the OFF state and disconnect the connecting cable.

Q. Why does the HP35R downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

A: There are two reasons:
1. Intelligent Overheat Protection
The headlamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or above, the headlamp will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature.

2. Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. When this happens in Low output, the headlamp blinks at Low output of Spot-and-floodlight mode to remind you to timely recharge the battery.

Q. Why does the HP35R flicker?

A: Poor battery level. Please recharge the battery case in a timely manner.

Q. What kind of battery can be used in HP35R?

A: The HP35R features two built-in 5000 mAh batteries in battery case. It is not compatible with any external batteries.

HP35R

"I have been using this headlamp for over a year. My primary use is daily night walks, but I have also used it in hunting, fishing, camping car repair and a few emergency situations. The multi-modes and variable intensity along with the long life of the battery makes this a versatile headlamp for a variety uses and daily efforts."

Amazing customer service

"I use this headlight all day everyday it's on the highest setting constantly. After about 8 months of daily use it finally crapped out on me. I sent it in for repairs and after about 5 weeks they sent me a brand new headlamp no questions asked. . I need this lamp to do my job and customer service was top-notch. Anytime I sent an email they replied with an update. I highly suggest if you need a strong powerful headlamp that runs all day on a good battery purchase this one The HP35R. The only thing that I could say could use an upgrade is the track that the headlamp rides on it's made out of plastic in ebroads rather rapidly. I would strongly suggest they make it out of metal in the future so it holds up to torturous use. I'm a subterranean infrastructure maintenance technician I work in dark damp places and I need a light constantly. Overall 4. 7 out of 5 stars"

Disappointed - Defective Unit, No Customer Support

"I purchased the FENIX HP35R headlamp less than two months ago and could not be more disappointed. After only a few uses, the battery stopped holding a charge. I charged it overnight several times, and it now won’t power on at all. For a product that costs over $260, this is completely unacceptable. What makes the situation worse is the lack of support. There is no direct customer service number, and the company provides no meaningful way to get assistance. When I contacted FENIX directly, they redirected me to the wholesale seller, and I still have not received any response regarding a refund or replacement. This headlamp has become completely useless, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. There are many other reliable headlamps on the market with better performance and far better reputations. I strongly suggest staying away from this one."

Fenix quality flashlights

"The HP35R IS THE BEST HEADLIGHT IVE ever owned and wouldn't change it for any other. The different light settings and the quality of the light, it's just an over all excellent headlight. The way the headlight performs in any condition, I highly recommend the HP35R for any Type of work duty, big or small projects. Since I've had mine it's been a very important work tool."

Fenix HP35R Search and Rescue

"Very bright and useful light. With the battery pack on the back and light, it’s very well balanced."

Shawn R. (5/5)

Incredible amount of light

"Controls are very intuitive. Although it is heavy, it is still comfortable and not extremely noticeable on the head. I would prefer the flood to be a bit higher color temp as it comes out more yellow. The only other thing I would change to the high level could be a bit brighter as the turbo dims out relatively quick."

Darren (5/5)

Brightest longest lasting battery headlamp I've ever had

"I did research on the brightest headlamps out there and when I discovered this one I had to have it just knowing how well high-quality their batteries are. I only knew them from their batteries they have the only batteries that work in my lasers for any length of time. So I knew that their headlamp had to be pretty good considering the price tag of $239. The headlamp is made for search and rescue but I use it to ride my bike and just do every night stuff you say I work at night so I am not distracted by all the distractions in life during the daytime and whatever I'm looking at is the only thing I can see so I stay focused on my work. Even more so with this light holy crap this thing is bright I wear it straight on my head it feels pretty heavy I must admit if I put it on my helmet the combination of the two gets me tired by the end of the night but I'm able to see the future with this thing it's so bright it does get a little warm as something this bright would. The burn time on this thing is incredibly long the numbers that they list are pretty dang close to spot on. I confide in this spotlight in that mountain bike ride as well going far out into the mountains hearing three rivers Oregon knowing that this flight is going to last the duration. I can't see the lights on the head lamp when I'm riding my bike as far as how much battery is left I just hit the timer and know how long it's gonna last in each setting. I have an outward bound light set with probably one of the brightest lights I've ever used on a mountain bike before mounted on the handlebars this headlamp is so bright it drowns out that handlebar light which I didn't think was possible and how far it casts is unbelievable as well in the pitch black night I couldn't tell you how far it is but it's as far as I need to see with my headlamp which seems like it's a couple hundred yards. I like that it's got a white light for your distance and a yellow light for all the close-up stuff a perfect mixture of light making it really easy to see depth perception while riding my bike. I do a lot of high desert riding in the rocks just blend into the soil and clapping a rock with a pedal is not what you want. It just propels you forwarding through the air making the bicycle ride a tense ass puckering not fun experience but with this headlamp on and being it's bright enough to see the future I can relax my ass to know pucker zone and enjoy the ride. Would I buy this light again absolutely definitely needs the top strap if you're planning on wearing it right on your head and make sure you get this one and not the search and rescue the Helmet edition I forgot the numbers on it will not work on your barehead I got one shipped to me accidentally and I tried it and no go. I'm pretty confident this headlamp is going to last a very long time based on their batteries that I've used in the past and other products such as lasers and flashlights they hold more charge they last a lot longer and their overall lifetime is a lot longer than almost every battery I've ever seen so give it a whirl it's a lot more money than you'd spend on a headlamp but you'll be able to see the future and it will keep running for a very long time reliably"
