What LED is used in the E35R flashlight?

The E35R uses the Luminus SST70 cool white LED

What batteries are used in the E35R?

The E35R includes a rechargeable 21700 battery. You may also use an 18650 battery with the Fenix ALF-18 battery adapter.

Q: What kind of LEDs are used in E06R?

A: The main light utilizes two Luminus SST12 LEDs, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours each. The UV light utilizes one Luminus SST-08-UV LED. 

Q: What is the color temperature of E06R?

A: Around 6500K.

Q: What is the operating voltage and operating current of E06R?

A: The operating voltage is 3 V - 4.2 V. The operating current is 2 A.

Q: Is E06R rechargeable? How long is the charging time?

A: Yes. The E06R is rechargeable via the USB Type-C charging port. The indicator will display red while charging and will turn green when fully charged. The normal charging time of the built-in battery is about 2 hours from depleted to fully charged.

Q: Why does the E06R downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

A: There are two reasons: 

1. Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 65°C/149°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 65°C/149°F, the light will gradually recall the preset output level.

2. Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Eco output is reached.

Q: Why does the E06R sometimes flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:

1. Poor battery level.

Solution: Recharge the battery.

2. The contact or contact point of the battery or flashlight is dirty.  

Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
