Q: What kind of LEDs are used in HL18R-T V2.0?

A: The HL18R-T V2.0 uses one Luminus SST25 white LED, one SST20 CRI80 warm white LED, and two 2835 red LEDs.

Q: Is HL18R-T V2.0 rechargeable? How long is the charging time? 

A: HL18R-T V2.0 is rechargeable with a USB Type-C charging port. The power indicator will illuminate in an incremental cycle from left to right while the taillight is charging, and the battery takes about 3 hours to fully charge.

Q: Can HL18R-T V2.0 be used in severe weather such as rain and sandstorm? 

A: HL18R-T V2.0 features IP66 rated protection: fully protected against dust and foreign objects, can withstand heavy rain and splashes.

Q: Why does the HL18R-T V2.0 sometimes flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:

A: Poor battery level.

Solution: Replace the battery or charge the headlamp, which comes standard with a 1900 mAh battery and is compatible with three AAA batteries.

Q: HL18R-T V2 will automatically reduce the brightness after using it for a while, and it can't light up higher gears, why is that?

A: When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. When this happens in Low output, one of the battery level indicators blinks to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Q: Does the HL18R-T V2.0 have a memory mode?

A: The lamp automatically memorizes the last selected output of each mode when users press and hold the electronic switch to turn on/off the lamp. When turned on again, the previously used output of the selected mode will be recalled.

Q: How do I unlock/lock?

A:

Lock: with the lamp switched off, slid e the lock switch down in accordance with the mark, the lamp will blink 4 times in the Low output of Warm white light mode to indicate locked status.

Unlock: with the lamp locked, slide the lock switch up in accordance with the mark, the lamp will blink 4 times in the Low output of Warm white light mode to indicate standby status.

Note:

With the lamp locked, any operation will activate 4 blinks in the Low output of Warm white light mode.
