The Fenix AER-01 switch (formerly AR-102) houses four sensors and a steel spring-switch module for consistent performance and reliability. The cable extends up to 80cm and the switch is triggered with slight finger pressure. Fitting lights that are 1" in diameter, the main circle switch functions just like the tail cap power switch, turning the light off and on, while the pressure pad serves as a "half-press" of the tail cap switch, achieving only momentary illumination. With the exception of the PD35TAC (only in Tactical Mode), the AER-01 cannot change brightness levels.

"The pressure switch will not stay stuck to my fire arm. It did not come with anything, but I have tried 3m double sided tape, and a few glues, nothing sticks. I contacted customers service and they told me to check with my gun manufacturer! Not impressed at all!! The switch seems to work fine though."

"I have purchased several fenix lights iver the years, for many different applications But I first found them when researching for a weapon mounted light on an old ar15 I had years ago, and have had them on every rifle since. Currently I have a fenix TK09 light mounted on my ar15 with the fenix light mount and this pressure switch ran to the side of my picatinny rail. Fenix really is the best you can get for the money. I have found their products to be better in every way to a company like surefire who charges 3 times as much for less lumens. My one and only regret with this set up is I wish fenix made a picatinny mount for the switch instead of using the Velcro that this switch comes with. It's not a big deal, I have the Velcro and it holds it very well. I just don't like the idea of gluing something to my quad rail. So if anyone from fenix reads this review, then take note and make me a rail mount for the switch! Either way I've been using fenix for years and will continue to do so. I'm a lifelong customer and will never own another brand for a weapon mounted light. Thank you."
"Overall I'm very happy with the product. But keep in mind for me the cord is much to long. I'm also not running it all the way to my grip where others might. Also on the box I received it says AER-01 then on the back it mentions the 4 sensors then below that it mentions the 3 sensors. There is only 3 NOT 4 just so everyone is aware of that."

"As someone who is just getting into this kind of equipment I am looking for no hassle products that do what I need it to do. I find the cord coil is a little long for carbine length gas systems on an ar15 unless you wrap it over and around the handguard when placing the switch on the mag well. So it's livable. My only complaint is there is no way of of the box to mount the switch in any way to the rifle. At least give us something even if it's a strip of Velcro with a sticky side."

"it works good but there isn't any thing in the box to mount it ( stick it ) to your vertical forend. It would be nice to have some Velcro to finish the job without putting tape around my grip. That looks pretty ghetto!"
