"I ordered this red filter to use with the Fenix PD40R V2.0 Flashlight. It fits perfectly. The filter has a rubber housing that fits over the tip of the flashlight. It only covers a half inch over the tip of the flashlight so as long as it doesn't get snagged when taking out of a pocket or bag the filter won't come off on its own. It has a small eyelet so I suppose if you get a small string you could attach it. Next flashlight I plan to buy is with a red light built in. Personally I just prefer an all in one construction. I also earned a 5 dollar coupon so I redeemed for this filter. Shipping was super quick. I guess the price is so low that if it goes missing I won't mind buying another one."
