Buyer Beware
"This mount in theory is great, I bought two so I could swap my BC26R headlight around between bikes. However, there is a significant amount of play in the mounts, the light wiggles left to right audibly on both. This was my main light for a 3 day bikepacking trip and on the first gravel descent on day one the light was ejected off the mount never to be seen again. This left me without lights for the rest of the tour in a pretty remote wilderness area. Was pretty excited for this setup because of the ability to carry spare batteries, but I need something I can actually rely on. I won’t be purchasing another Fenix product."

Eventually failed
"Holds the light great. After about 9 months, the clip eventually failed, but I held the light on with e-tape for the rest of the trip and until the new ones arrived in the mail. They are so cheap, it’s not a big deal. I just bought two more to have a backup. Everything breaks, get over it."

Great design
"The extender is critical to get the right angle and extend beyond bike cables. Also, the light "clicks" into the mount so you know it is attached, and the spring to remove the light is easy to activate."

Great quality Light holder!!!
"The quality of this product and all the Fénix accessories are incredible. I am surprised with the good quality of the ALD-10 mount. I installed it on my bike using the quick release of the ALB-10 bike mount. The truth is that the material and the price are very good. I use both mounts a lot and I see that they will last me for a long time. See pictures. Great job Fenix Team!!!"

Solid build quality, bright light!
"I use this light for commuting to and from work, and it's been very reliable for me so far. The build quality inspires confidence: alloy feels much more robust than plastic. The light is a bit heavier for it, but it makes no difference for my situation (I'm already lugging my laptop, etc. to work; it's not a weight weenie ride). I plan to try it out for night mountain biking at some point, too, but have not done so yet. I think at 1600 lumens, it should be more than bright enough for it, and it certainly seems rugged enough for it, but time will tell."

Good product but could be built better
"Great way to mount the light on my bike! However, it is a little bit brittle and easy to break for the lock mechanism due to the thin plastic used."
