"These batteries with built in chargers are aost always longer than standard. You need to purchase the right ones for your needs. These work great for me."
"To call this an 18650 battery is disingenuous. It will not work with most of Fenix's OWN PRODUCTS which use the 18650 series power cells! The body is too long and severely limits which pocket sized products you can purchase. Definitely do not recommend."
"While I knew it was slightly longer I was unsure what my equipment would allow dimensions wise so I bought one of the 4000U batteries to try. They are too long for most flashlights that are not specifically designed for that battery. I ordered these to try in a thermal sight. They are also to long for that but, they do still do a great job of working items they are designed for."
"My Fenix flashlight uses this style of "button top" 18650 battery (not the flat variation), but this battery is too long. It is longer than my other Fenix 18650 batteries with button tops. It does not fit my Fenix flashlight. USB-C and 4000mAH sounded good, but it is unusable. Why have a standard battery size if Fenix is going to ignore it? I am disappointed. Otherwise, I am fairly happy with Fenix products or I wouldn't have tried to buy a spare battery."
"These batteries are 1-2mm longer than the batteries that came with my Fenix PD35 V3 flashlights. The extra length does not allow the flashlight’s cap to close all the way, so the flashlight won’t turn on. I was able to put these batteries in two other devices and they worked, but I bought these for the PD35s as they only come with 2600mAH batteries. I emailed customer support and I’m waiting to hear back to see how they resolve this issue of essentially defective batteries."
"Good idea with the type c charging on the battery but this 4000U 18650 is slightly taller than normal 18650 batteries and it will not work in some of the fenix and other brands of flashlights that take 18650s."
