The three charging currents on the all-new Fenix ARE-D1 include 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 amps for a variety of different battery types. Separate battery charger

"This battery charger works great. There is a little bit of a hassle in the way one has to use it to maintain battery charge. I watch “Project Farm “ on YouTube for most of his advice on products. He awarded this headlamp at the Top of the class. With no mention of having to use an auxiliary charger. When I spoke to the customer support person he said because of the battery technology that this light would require an optional charger. Because mine would not fully charge with the built in charger and cord that was sent with and equipped. I bought the additional charger and I use it as suggested and it works fine. I am happy with the product and I’m sure it will last years . again the Support customer service was great , they were nice and knowledgeable. The only issue I have is I was not aware that I was going to have to use an additional charger . now every day when I have to charge it I have to remove the battery which is a little bit of a hassle . that may have changed my purchase decision over lights I’ve used in the last 45 years, which did not require battery removal. P. S. I have not reached out to Project Farm yet I thought I would wait until I shared my experience with you."
