My favorite rechargable headlamp to date!!

"Big fan of this versatile headlamp. 1)Firstly, LOVE the USB recharge-ability. 2)Very nice to have the ability to tilt. 3)I am a big fan of the head band as well, though not at first. After a bit of use I realized its "bonus feature", the ability to rotate the tension dial to varying positions in relation to the headlamp. For example, if I want to lie underneath my car to work I can move the tensioner dial to the side of my head and therefore relax my head and neck and be able to completely lie comfortably. The same goes for reading in bed or my tent. Great little efficient light!!! I am looking forward to owning the v2. 0 for the red light feature!!!"

"I really like the light but I'm not sure about the headband. The string system is odd. Unless you wind it back up every time after you use it, it get tangled up. So I'm not sure how long it's going to last."

I use it for running

"I use it for running almost every morning. Even the lowest setting is powerful enough for the road. The spotlight is incredible on the trail and if I trip it's not because I can't see. My friend, who is an engineer, even commented on the quality of the light. I own a handful of Fenix products and I love them!"

Great light but needs an update

"Great light but needs a complimentary model with a red light. I bought this because of the BOA system because I take hats on and off while fishing and this helps me quickly adjust. However, it lacks the red light that we use a lot in fishing - both to preserve our night vision and also not disrupt the fish. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if they came out with one that has a red light. But I'm holding out until they do. Been waiting a long time."
