Great light stupid headband
"The light is phenomenal. The BOA headband is garbage. It will not stay in your head while running without tightening so tight as to cause a headache. I just used this for an ultramarathon and was cursing it through the night. The HM65R has a great headband. It is stupid they are interchangeable."

"I love everything about this lamp- long battery life on even the brightest settings, the spotlight and illumination options are both really great depending on the situation. Night hiking I really like the illuminate because it’s a little softer if I am walking the dogs in a Snowstorm or rain the low spot light setting works great. I’ve worn it in various horrible weather conditions with no issues over the past three months or so I’ve had it. The battery check option is great and it charges really fast! I’d been buying llb headlamps forever and I am so glad I made the switch to Fenix, it’s built and functions way better."

Fenix HM65R-T is THE ONE!
"I use this light for night walking/ jogging and for camping, and I love it. Easy to use controls 1 button for flood and 1 bottom for spot makes it easy to navigate through settings, and the lockout and button cover are great for saving battery while it's stored in my Fenix APB-20 Headlamp Storage Bag. Supper bright, easily putting to shame all my other headlamps from before and with HUGE run times. I normally use it on Spotlight Medium at 400 lumens, and it lights up the path extremely well and if I need more I can always turn on Floodlight mode and crank up Spot to high. Run times I get are just as advertised. I run it on 400 Lumens Spotlight and I easily get 12-13 hours run time. The headlamp is fairly light, and the weight is hardly noticeable thanks to the wide headband. I only wish the headband was removable to easily wash it. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality and performance of this headlamp.
