The ALG-18 Barrel Mount is designed to easily and quickly attach flashlights to rifles without rail attachment points. This mount is compatible with gun barrels ranging from 18-23mm in diameter and does not require extra tools for installation. "Seriously bright lite. Easily see a 20 ft fov at 250 yards. More than ample to light up hogs or varmits. Used it the other night to rustle up some escaped cows that were hiding out in the woods. Battery good at full power for about an hour and a half to 2 hours. Self reduced to low at that point. Got both the red and green lens covers to preserve night vision. Notable difference in light intensity with shade use. If you are using for hunting only might want to consider getting the one that has the green and red led’s. Use mine more for utility purposes on the farm"

"This is my second Fenix flashlight. I have not had a chance to play with the HT18R very much yet. But it seems like a really good will made flashlight. I’m not really crazy about the screw on red and green covers. I first thought it was a button you pushed to change the color put right before I ordered it I realized it wasn’t. That would have made it really great put again it’s still a nice light and I’m sure it’s going to come in handy when hunting."
