Q: What kind of LED is used in LD30R?

A: A Luminus SST40 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

Q: What is the color temperature of LD30R?

A: Around 6000K.

Q: What is the working voltage of LD30R?

A: The operating voltage is 3.0 - 6.4 V. The max operating current is 6 A.

Q: Is LD30R rechargeable? How long is the charging time?

A: LD30R is rechargeable. The normal charging time of the Fenix ARB-L18-3400
battery is about 3 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 5V/2A charging
adapter. Only Moonlight output and Low output can be operated while charging.
When charging is complete, please replace the anti-dust cap to ensure waterproof
and dustproof ability.

Q: Why does the LD30R downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

A: There are two possible reasons:
1. Intelligent Overheat Protection
The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for
extended periods. Therefore the light will automatically step down a few lumens to
reduce the temperature to a safe level when this situation occurs.
2. Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below 3.0 V, the flashlight is programmed to downshift
to a lower brightness level until the Moonlight mode is reached.

Q: Why does the LD30R happen to flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to
illuminate:
1. Poor battery level.
Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.
2. The contact or contact point of the battery or flashlight is dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Q: What kind of battery can be used in LD30R?

A: It is recommended to use a Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery. The flashlight is also
compatible with the CR123A battery. While using two CR123A batteries, the max
output is 1000 lumens and the max beam distance is 205 meters. The 1-lumen
Moonlight mode can be continuously used for 300 hours.

Best headlamp ever

"I RECENTLY LOST THIS HEADLAMP GOT A KNOCK OFF VERSION WHILE I WAIT FOR A NEW FENIX IT SUCKS I MISS MY FENIX"

Stephen A. (5/5)

Good one

"Good one Long battery life 750 hours for one lumen which is cool in a survival situation especially, brightest mode warms your hands up it's like 1700 lumens, there's other ones that are 3000 lumens but they don't have the one lumen for 750 hours capability which I like, I keep mine at 50% charge for long storage cuz that's what it's best for batteries once it's blinking green I know it's at about 50%"

Jonah W. (5/5)

Great light but

"Light works great but I preferred the old model with the battery that charged and not the charge port on the light itself."

Thomas F. (5/5)

Still amazing

"Absolutely love this product this is my third item from this company and probably 20 years still amazing still absolutely 100% worth every penny paid"

Fenix LD 30R

"This flashlight is highly recommended. It's so powerful and so compact small enough to put in your pocket. It helps me a lot in my line of work as a Facility Technician. I use Fenix RC 20 in my work and I love it that's why i bought this LD30 R as my back up flashlight for its size and budget friendly"

Byron G. (5/5)

Not as good as I expected

"The flashlight gets hot after 10-20 minutes. The bottom to adjust the brightness is difficult to find in the dark. I expected better craftsmanship than this after how long this company has been making flashlights. Seriously, no one knew about the heat issue? I expected more from this flash light and company."

April W. (2/5)

Felix LD30R

"I’m extremely happy with this flashlight!! It’s very bright, rugged, and is the perfect size for just about any task. This flashlight will be perfect to keep in my hunting bag for those late evenings finding my way out of the woods. Battery life seems to great too and charges fast. I will be purchasing a few more for sure!"

Ira M. (5/5)

The Fenix Tradition Continues

"We only purchase Fenix lights for our field work, as experience has shown that their lights perform great and are very reliable. And if we ever have an issue (which is rare!), their service response is second to none. The LD30R is perfect for a pocket-carry light, about 5 inches long, lightweight yet powerful, with intuitive switches. Charging via a USB port is nice. Hard to believe how far flashlight technology has come in just a few years! Fenix rocks!"

Robert H. (5/5)

"this is the best flashlight that anyone could get , it has everything that you could want ! I mean everything especially the moon light that lasts 750 hours that is amazing 👌 ."
