Q: What kind of LEDs are used in TK28R?

A: Main light utilizes a Luminus SFT70 LED and a Luminus SST70 LED for spotlight and floodlight. Red light source utilizes two OSRAM GR QSSPA1.23 red LEDs. The flashlight's luminous angle is greater than 70°.

Q: What is the color temperature of TK28R?

A: Around 6500K-7000K.

Q: What is the working voltage of TK28R?

A: 6.0V-8.4V.

Q: Is TK28R rechargeable? How long is the charging time?

A: Yes, the TK28R is rechargeable with its USB Type-C charging port. The normal charging time is approximately 1.5 hours from depleted to fully charged with a 9V/3A charging adapter.

Q: How to prevent accidental activation of the TK28R?

A:

Solution 1: Turn the toggle switch to the Lockout mode to lock the flashlight.

Solution 2: Turn off the flashlight and remove the batteries.

Q: Why does the TK28R sometimes downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

A: There are two reasons:

1. Intelligent Overheat Protection

The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature.

2. Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached.

Q: Why does the TK28R sometimes flicker?

A: The reasons that may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:

1. Poor battery level.

Solution: Recharge or replace the batteries.

2. The contact or contact point of the batteries or flashlight is dirty.

Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Q: What kind of batteries can be used in TK28R?

A: It is recommended to use two Fenix ARB-L18-4000 batteries. In addition, it is recommended to use Fenix-L18-3400/Fenix-L18-3500 series batteries. Do not use 21700 or 16340 batteries. As unmatched batteries may cause the flashlight to fail to work normally.
